Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be a self-starter who displays a combination of a proactive mentality, discipline, integrity, and a strong work-ethic. Compensation for the position consists of salary and commission.
• Prospecting/cold calling into assigned territories.
• Creating and qualifying opportunities
• Working with Marketing on lead generation efforts
• Building pipeline for the Field.
• Help manage and bring opportunities to closure with guidance from the field.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Passion, energy, and great work ethic in line with the start-up environment
• Very strong interpersonal and communication skills to understand the landscape of the opportunity, and the needs of customers/prospects
• 2+ years of sales experience in an inside sales role. Experience in B2B, high-tech, and data storage/virtualization industries preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and tight deadlines in an entrepreneurial environment
• Able to conceptualize / explain complex concepts and ideas in a clear and concise manner
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, Salesforce.com, and/or other CRM applications
